I am a licensed psychologist currently providing counseling and psychotherapy in a private psychology practice located in Tallahassee, Florida. I specialize in Group and couples counseling as well as cognitive behavioral therapies.
I have been providing counseling since 1999. As a therapist, I have worked with individuals from all walks of life from college students to couples to individuals coping with severe mental illness. I have worked with people who struggle with depression, anxiety, relationships, life transitions (e.g., career, parenting, divorce, etc.), self harm behaviors and recovery from trauma.
I graduated with a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale, a program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). I also completed an APA accredited internship at the University of Utah Counseling Center and a post-doctoral residency at Florida State Hospital in Chattahoochee.
I have been a member of the American Psychological Association since 2007. I currently serve as the Secretary for the Capital Chapter of the Florida Psychological Association. I am also working on my Certified Group Psychotherapist status as a member of the American Group Psychotherapy Association.
